A very warm welcome to any visitors worshipping with us.  At the Communion services those who are confirmed and those who normally receive Communion in their own church (whatever denomination) are invited to receive communion.  All are welcome to receive a blessing.

Prayer for Sunday 19th June

Healing Lord,
in this world of disconnection and disrepair,
in which we often walk past each other’s pain,
you come among us as a calming presence

We are made whole again,
we are unbound and set free,
we are changed! Amen

Prayer for the Ukraine

Lord, we pray for the nation and people of Ukraine; give them a sense of hope in their situation.  May they receive the love and nourishment they deserve, and may they strengthen each other through the horrors of war.  Encourage those who work for peace and reconciliation, give them understanding and patience and a resolve not to give up.  We pray that a peaceful resolution to their current plight may yet be found, and we pray that those in authority on both sides may seek your peace.  May they all know the love of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

We pray for those who are sick and who ask for our prayers

ST PETER’S PATRONAL FESTIVAL: Next Sunday St Peter’s will be celebrating their Patronal Festival when we would usually have a plurality Eucharist.  However, the Ministry Team felt in view of the size of St Peter’s building it would be advisable not to have a joint service and so they will be celebrating as a parish.
